4th Annual “Go All In” Cold Water Plunge & After Event Benefit Concert

The event starts at Kingston Point Beach on Delaware Avenue in Kingston, NY at 1pm, although there will be a pre-plunge beach community cleanup beforehand at 12pm. Participants will “plunge” into the Hudson River to plunge at 1:30; the after party and benefit concert at Westkill Supply will be from 3-5pm; and DJ Tolten will be spinning vinyl from 5-8pm. Complimentary snacks and beverages including acai bowls, coffee, hot chocolate, and donuts will be provided for free at the beach while supplies last donated by Turn Up The Beet and Half Moon Rondout Cafe.
This year, we will be collaborating with West Kill Supply in Midtown Kingston and feature live music beginning at 3pm. The concert will be a small benefit show featuring local artists playing a couple songs and talking about their mental health including Ginger Winn, Calle Mackenzie, Jack Manley, Attention Scam, and Erica Lynch. The event highlights the release of the song written by Cassidy’s sisters, Karlie and Sydney, called “Every Time It Rains” in collaboration with Ginger Winn and Keep Good Company Records, who produced the song: a collection of memories and poems that they pieced together to create a lasting memory. Ginger will preview the song during her performance, which will be officially released on Cassidy’s birthday, March 28, 2025. The song even features the lyrics “beating strong down in midtown” about our beloved Kingston Midtown Arts District. All proceeds from the song will be donated to local mental health organizations.
Rewind Kingston is proud to be a partner with the community we serve. To date, we have raised over $35,000 for the organization United We Om, from trauma-informed yoga trainings to their new model of Karma Project Micro Grants that put good into the world without attachment to the outcome. Last year, we donated to The Maya Gold Foundation to bring their youth mental health trainings to Kingston. Additionally, we are working on creating a new initiative of free community events at Rewind Kingston. We will be raising money to expand our weekly “Study Hall,” a concept that evolved from our free weekly mixed media journaling to include more free after-school activities for both adults and young people like drawing, crocheting, songwriting, using clay, and writing workshops led by instructors. Free Pickleball Beginner lessons, also a part of our Wellness Wednesday, will begin again in the spring from 6-8pm on Wednesday evenings on Field Court.
Free Nourish zines, a collaboration between Rewind Kingston and Keep Good Company Records, will be dispersed at the festival with content focused on nourishing yourself, your body, your mind, your friends, your community and applying these to day to day life and bringing more self-care and soothing activities into your life. Nourish will be presenting several wellness events as a collective series throughout 2025 with Rewind Kingston and Keep Good Company Records. You can learn more at www.howdoyounourish.com.
Save the date for our third annual Heart of Midtown Mental Health, Music & Street Festival on 9/20/25!
