Woodstock Film Festival
The Woodstock Film Festival, a celebrated not-for-profit organization, is a highlight of the fall season in the Hudson Valley. Since its launch in 2000 by filmmakers Meira Blaustein and Laurent Rejto, it has grown into a must-attend event for cinephiles.
The festival takes place across multiple easy to access locations, including the towns of Woodstock, Rosendale, Saugerties, and the city of Kingston.
A key distinction of the Woodstock Film Festival is its prestige as an Oscar®-qualifying event in three short film categories: Live Action Short Film, Animated Short Film, and Documentary Short Film. This means the films you see here could be on their way to the Academy Awards!
