Local Author Meet and Greet with E.M. Jensen

Local author E.M. Jensen will be reading from and discussing their new historical novel Light Upon You, a narrative retelling of the history of the apostle Peter’s tomb, told from the perspective of a church mouse.

An exhaustively researched account, the events and characters are knit from dozens of historical sources including second-century Pagan funerary inscriptions, medieval writings, the Liber Pontificalis (Book of the Popes), Papal letters, newspaper articles, Vatican archaeological records and modern academic research.

Weaving historical facts into a rich tapestry of imagery, Light Upon You is not just about the bones of a fisherman, but a spellbinding story about tradition and reason, and about finding companionship and solace in the most unlikely of places.
