The Tower House Sanctuary Ribbon-Cutting Celebration
For the first time, The Tower House Sanctuary opens to the public for a special ribbon-cutting weekend celebrating art, architecture, music, storytelling, and imagination.
Designed and built by artist and architect John Kahn, The Tower House is now owned and cared for by Jim Beer as the centerpiece of The Tower House Sanctuary.
Hidden in the forests of Saugerties, New York, The Tower House is one of the Hudson Valley’s most extraordinary artistic homes: a five-story sculptural environment built by hand over fifteen years by John Kahn from stone, timber, slate, copper, and reclaimed materials.
Guests will have the rare opportunity to explore the house, hear from John Kahn about its creation, and experience intimate performances by internationally acclaimed Carnegie Hall pianist Katya Grineva.
