THE LIFE OF CHUCK

A mysterious billboard appears in a crumbling world — and it’s thanking a man no one seems to know.

That’s the striking, hopeful spark of “The Life of Chuck,” a three‑chapter drama told in reverse from a story by Stephen King.

The film opens at the end of everything: power grids failing, skies dimming, people bracing for collapse. Then a sign appears reading “Charles Krantz. Thirty‑nine great years. Thanks, Chuck!” And the story begins to rewind.

As the chapters move backward, we meet Charles Krantz (Tom Hiddleston), an ordinary accountant whose quiet acts of courage and kindness ripple far beyond what he ever realized: a spontaneous dance with a street performer, his grandmother who taught him that movement was a way of saying yes to life, and a locked room glimpsed in childhood — each moment reveals something essential about his life.

What emerges is a gentle reminder that even the most unassuming life can steady others in ways we never see.
