Mia Brazilian Jazz Ensemble: Celebrate Spring with Melodies of the Earth

Come celebrate spring with Brazilian jazz vocalist Mia and her ensemble of world class jazz musicians. With her warm voice and adventuresome arrangements, Mia takes you on a journey through the healing powers of nature in Brazilian music. You’ll hear bossa novas, sambas and choros in both English and Portuguese. Mia loves to sing beautiful Brazilian melodies, play in the waves of its rhythms and scat her way back to jazz.  Her CD “Encantada” was described as “irresistible, inspired and extremely enjoyable” by jazz critic Scott Yarrow.
