Circle of Friends Death Cafe

Circle of Friends for the Dying DEATH CAFE

All are welcome!   No admission!   Light refreshments!

CFD Death Cafés are gatherings of people, often strangers, where we eat treats, drink tea or coffee, and confidentially have a conversation that breaks the taboo of talking about dying and death. A Death Café is a group-directed conversation with no agenda, objectives, or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counseling session.

Circle of Friends has delivered more than 150 CFD Death Cafés across the county and on Zoom. People leave feeling “connected, uplifted, fulfilled, thankful, and informed.”

Admission is free, but we ask you to register in advance by clicking here.

For more information about the location, see their website at Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Catskills
