“We are excited to bring the annual Earth Fair to the Kingston waterfront again this year,” said Mayor Noble. “I want to thank our partners at Clearwater, Radio Kingston, and The 8th Step for the fantastic line-up of performers and musical guests who will be entertaining festival-goers throughout the day. I also want to thank the sponsors who have supported the Kingston Earth Fair– we would not be able to put this event together for eleven years without your generosity. I invite everyone in the community to stop by this family-friendly event to enjoy the music and acts, grab food from one of the local food trucks, participate in the kids activities, and visit the many environmentally-friendly vendors and exhibitors.”
The 2025 Earth Fair will feature live Clearwater Festival music and performances, including Arm of the Sea Theater, Tom Chapin, Cuboricua, Drumsong Orchestra of The Hudson Valley, KJ Denhert, Gail Ann Dorsey, the Center for Creative Education’s Energy Dance Company, Big Joe Fitz Acoustic Trio, Lisa Gutkin, Joe Jencks, M’Bollo, Mid-Hudson Juggling Club, Matt Munisteri and a Native American Water Ceremony.
The 2025 Earth Fair will also feature kids’ activities and games, face painting, a solar-powered merry-go-round, free Solaris boat rides, Clearwater tours, and local food vendors.
The City will provide free electronic waste collection for items like computers and televisions, and free refrigerant collection for items like old refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers, or air conditioners. Free paper shredding/recycling will be available, sponsored by Archtop Fiber. Participants are also encouraged to bring gently used clothes or household items for the Earth Day Exchange.
David Toman, Executive Director of Hudson River Sloop Clearwater said, “The Kingston Earth Fair is a truly special event where we get to celebrate efforts to protect our environment together as a Kingston community! We are so appreciative for the City of Kingston, Radio Kingston, The 8th Step, our sponsors and vendors, and the amazingly talented musicians who will entertain and inspire us throughout the day. Come sailing with us or just visit the sloop as part of your day.”
