8th Annual Hullabaloo Features the Best of Local, Handmade Goods
Now’s the time to break out your shopping bags, put on your dancing shoes, and get ready to shop a curated selection of local and handmade goods at the Hudson Valley Hullabaloo. A favorite of locals and visitors alike, the 8th annual Hullabaloo is scheduled for 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday, 11/19 and 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday, 11/20 at the Andy Murphy Midtown Neighborhood Center (467 Broadway in Kingston).
This yearly celebration of unique, regional makers and vintage goods is proudly known as the place where arty-meets-party and has the well-earned reputation of being a family-friendly gathering. As in past years, the 2022 Hullabaloo promises a carefully curated group of 75 designers and artists in an environment that’s filled with warm energy, good food, and the promise of a completely different experience than your average craft fair. The efforts that go into curating a unique and simultaneously beautifully familiar show are evident in the diverse offerings of vendors from all over the Hudson Valley and beyond.
In addition to the affordable shopping experience, unique opportunities also abound during this one-of-a-kind event: Like a tintype photo booth by Tom Delooza for heirloom keepsake portraits; hand-drawn portraits made on the spot by Thorneater Comics; and a holiday photo booth by Peter Demuth Photography. The atmosphere at Hullabaloo wouldn’t be complete without DJ Mr. Chips, who spins soulful and eclectic tunes that will make you want to dance down the aisles.
This year the Hullabaloo will feature food and drinks from both Hole in Wall Donuts, serving up sweet treats and coffee, and Samosa Shack’s homemade and authentic Indian street food.
Admission is $2, and kids 12 and under can attend for free. See the full list of vendors at https://hvhullabaloo.com/ and keep up-to-date with all the Hullabaloo happenings on Facebook and Instagram.
