Safe Pass Ulster, an organization bringing together families of traffic crash victims and street safety advocates, will be observing the Ulster County’s fourth annual World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims on November 19, 2023. The event will begin with a gathering at Pine Street and Broadway and will proceed by foot, bike and bus to the intersection of Spring St and Wurts St in Kingston. The event will honor Christine Tarasco and Sarah Edwards who were both killed by drivers in 2023, and will highlight the sites of their respective crashes. The event also is a platform for road traffic victims, their families and the community to remember all people killed and seriously injured on the roads, and call for immediate change.
