Although she passed away from complications of MS in 2025\, her spirit remains stro ng. Judy’s talent\, curiosity\, generosity\, wit and humor will be celeb rated in the continuation of “Women in Music” at The Colony Woodstock starting on March 26th\, and continuing every last Thursday on April 30th \, May 28th and June 25th 2026.\nThe series will be curated and hosted by Elly Wininger who performed in one of Judy’s “Women in Music” concer ts. Elly is a an acoustic and slide guitarist\, and songwriter known for h er roots in the Greenwich Village Folk and Blues scene. She was inducted i nto the New York Blues Hall of Fame in 2014\, and her album The Blues Neve r End (2021) spent over four months in the top six albums on the Roots Mus ic Report’s Acoustic Blues chart\, with several weeks at Number One. Bey ond performing\, Wininger has produced award-winning music documentaries f or public radio and hosted numerous radio shows.
