DESCRIPTION:Join us this summer for an exciting\, new\, all-day youth progr
 am combining the considerable strengths and history of the Hudson River Ma
 ritime Museum\, now in its 47th year! The HRMM Voyager Program offers a tr
 uly unique\, multi-activity\, hands-on opportunity for young participants.
  Open to all skill levels\, our Seafarers (9-12 years old) and Navigato
 rs (13-17 years old) will spend each day sailing for three hours\, practic
 ing boat building and woodworking for 90 minutes\, and participating in ot
 her STEAM activities involving history\, crafts\, games\, and tours on our
  solar tour boat Solaris\, all while fostering learning\, friendship\, an
 d adventure. Seafarers and Navigators will come together for a mid-day lun
 ch onshore. The program is led by professional woodworkers\, museum educa
 tors\, and US Sailing Certified Instructors who help participants explore 
 how STEAM principles apply in the woodshop and on the water. Classes are h
 eld rain or shine each day they are scheduled. We sail in light rain\, but
  if thunderstorms threaten we stay ashore and do other activities.\n\nRegi
