Want to share your story in a creative way? Interested in learning about the risograph printing process? Do you love comics, zines, graphic novels, or cartoons? Whether this is your first time making your own comic or you want to refine your craft we’ll work together to translate our stories into a unique comic zine. Using a combination of researched storytelling techniques and artistic experiments, we’ll explore what makes the art of the comic book unique. After reviewing the technical basics needed to create and prepare a comic zine for printing, students will be encouraged to stretch themselves creatively. By the end of the course we’ll have printed our own limited edition risograph comic zines.
