Tarot 101
Simply by virtue of our human capacity to interact with an image, the Tarot is an oracle that can immediately speak to us. This 90-minute workshop is shaped around helping you find a way into the Tarot’s arcana, or secrets, so that you can begin developing your own personal relationship to this powerful oracle.
This workshop will offer an overview of:
- the anatomy of a Tarot deck
- working with an image
- random + face-up pulls
- asking good questions
- the importance of developing symbolic + intuitional literacy
You’ll leave with a .pdf of all class notes + references for further study. Bring a tarot deck, a journal + something to write with. A limited number of tarot decks will be available for people who don’t have one.
