DESCRIPTION:Shemesh/Tampasis is a Hudson Valley-based duo project featuring
  Omer Shemesh on oud + keyboards\, and Adriana Tampasis on flute. The duo
 ’s compositions blur the lines between composition and improvisation\, u
 tilizing narrative score and open structure\, as well as extended techniqu
 e. The project highlights collaboration and musical conversation as essent
 ial elements to the duo’s creative work and process. Because of this\, t
 heir sound weaves in and out of moments of reflection and moments of react
 ion\, initiating a dialogue with one another that is thoughtful and kept i

 ser and a musician with an omnivorous taste. Since his teens he has been a
  member of multiple jazz\, rock and funk groups\, and he holds a B.A. in M

 tion to pursuing an M.S. in Music Therapy at SUNY New Paltz\, Justin teach
 es music at elementary and middle schools\, works as a church pianist\, an
