The Pine Cats are the acoustic-driven blues/folk duo of John Putnam and Mike Visceglia, longtime friends and musical colleagues with four decades of history together. They have played with renowned artists including Madonna, Suzanne Vega, Cher, John Denver, Richard Shinedell and Jackson Brown. In 2020, John and Mike found themselves serendipitously sequestered just several miles apart in the Catskills. With a porch big enough for the two to play 6 feet apart, a new acoustic duo was born. The Pine Cats are fueled by John’s original music, as well as a collection of blues and folk classics performed on guitar and bass.
