Steve Gorn, whose flute is featured on the 2011 Grammy winning recording, “Miho – Journey to the Mountain,” with the Paul Winter Consort, and the Academy Award winning Documentary film, Born into Brothels , has performed Indian Classical Music and new American Music on the bansuri bamboo flute, soprano saxophone and clarinet in concerts and festivals throughout the world. His unique blend of Indian music and contemporary world music can be heard on recordings with Krishna Das, Jai Uttal, Tony Levin, Paul Simon, Glen Velez, Jack DeJohnette, Paul Winter, John Lindberg, Adam Rudolph, Layne Redmond, Richie Havens, Alessandra Belloni, Badal Roy, Simon Shaheen, Deepak Chopra, Robert Bly, Coleman Barks, and numerous Indian musicians.
Mariana Song is a Brazilian singer-songwriter who started singing Bossa Nova in her native town Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. After moving to New York she started doing weekly gigs of Bossa Nova and Samba in NYC and then she moved to Woodstock, NY where she met wonderful skilled musicians who accompany her so she can continue sharing the beauty of Brazilian music.
Timothy Hill is a singer, guitarist, pianist and composer who moves fluidly between a wide variety of genres from folk americana to contemporary classical to jazz improvisation. He appears on over 40 recordings across the spectrum.
Gil Oliveira, drummer/percussionist, is a familiar face within the Brazilian music scene. Son of Paulinho Boca de Cantor, vocalist in the legendary Novos Baianos band, Gil was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro. Having played professionally since his teenage years, Gil has made numerous appearances in concerts and television alongside Gilberto Gil, Caetano Veloso, Ivete Sangalo, Moraes Moreira, Baby do Brasil, Bebel Gilberto and the iconic guitarist Pepeu Gomes; furthermore, Gil has partaken in the Brazilian Carnival in Salvador, Bahia for more than a decade.
Gabriel Dresdale is a Multi-Instrumentalist, Singer-Songwriter, Composer and Music Educator. He began playing Cello at the age of 5 and is versed in a variety of styles including classical, jazz, world, free improvisation, folk and rock.
