Hear how immigrants and entrepreneurs developed a thriving maritime village along the terminus for the Delaware and Hudson Canal. View the rich legacy of commercial buildings, cast-iron storefronts, homes and churches built by the immigrant community. Some uphill walking is involved.
Saturday October 30th departing at 11 a.m. from the gazebo in T.R. Gallo Park, 73 West Strand St.
The tour costs $10 for adults and $5 for children under 16. Free to FHK members. Reservations recommended: Call 845-339-0720 with questions.
The Friends of Historic Kingston asks visitors to follow current COVID guidelines regarding masks and social distancing for all events.
While in the neighborhood we invite you to visit the Reher Center open house from 12-1 at the end of your tour and stay for the Historic Bakery Tour on Saturday at 1pm.
