Rick Danko bass player and voc alist of The Band\, christened Louie ~ Professor Louie ~ due to his work w ith The Band and the individual members of The Band. Louie collaborated wi th Rick Danko and The Band for over fifteen years\, co-producing The Band ’s last three CD’s &\; Rick Danko’s solo CD’s. Professor Louie toured with The Rick Danko Band and played numerous duo shows with Rick.\n \n\nProfessor Louie &\; The Crowmatix has emerged in the music industry as the torchbearer of the true spirit of American Roots Music. They have eighteen studio albums on the Woodstock Records Label. In 2025\, Woodstock Records released a new Album: Crowin’ Around\, which has been played on over 180 Radio Stations across the Country. One of the hit songs from the album\, Elevate Yourself\, was the featured song of the week Woodstock Ra dio WDST. They hold a permanent place in The Canada South Blues Museum. Re cipients of The Robert H.
