Redwing Puppet Theatre: Unveiling the Vortex

Redwing Blackbird Theater presents a giant puppet show honoring three local historical female figures: Mama Nuchwe, Sojourner Truth and Hannah Arendt. This is our first attempt at this type show and this is a fundraiser so please turn out both locals and visitors. Enjoy the grounds while you are here.

Redwing Blackbird Theater is a small performance and workshop space in the Hudson Valley in Rosendale, NY. We create puppet parades, shows & exhibits that ask how people can live together in today’s world. We strive to create what does not yet exist & to draw out what has always been there.
