 l Dead songs\, RAINBOW FULL of SOUND has been re-creating the Dead’s leg
 endary 1972 tour of Europe\, tracing the path of twenty-one shows from Eng
 land to Denmark to Germany to France to the Netherlands and back to Englan
 d. This year the band will continue to Retrace the Europe 72 tour and also
  venture into the later years performing songs from the 70’s into the 90
 ’s\nWaynard has a storied history with the Dead and Family\, having perf
 ormed with: Bob Weir and other Grateful Dead member’s\, Hot Tuna\, Membe
 rs of RatDog &amp\; Phil and Friends\, Plus Previous Tours with John Kadle

 mashed up with Led Zeppelin Hits... They not only flow from Zep to Dead an
 d back again\, They play ZEPPELIN songs like the GD and Dead songs the way
  ZEP would... which makes for a fascinating\, sometimes shocking evening.\
 nIt’s somewhat boggling to think of Jerry Garcia and Jimmy Page swapping
  riffs –\nthe beatific Buddha and the slashing\, edgy Page.\nTo hear the
  Dead anthem “St. Stephen” merged seamlessly into “Whole Lotta Love.
 ”\nCreated out of Waynard’s Rainbow Full of Love to mash up the two re
 pertoires.\nThey not only flow from Zep to Dead and back again\, they play
  Zep songs like the GD and Dead songs the way Zep would...\nwhich makes fo
 r a fascinating\, sometimes shocking evening.\nIt’s that moment when the
  audience Hears “Ramble On” suddenly dissolve into “St. Stephen” w
 hich can be amazing to the point of a slight\nand interesting sense of dis
