 n With Light: Community Storytelling with Cyanotypes\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n“Wove
 n With Light ” is a collaborative community project with Kingston Public
  Library that invites participants and local families to learn how to crea
 te beautiful handmade fabric prints using camera-less photography. Cyanoty
 pe is one of the oldest photographic processes that was developed in 1852.
  It uses non-toxic chemicals ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferrocy
 anide to create a UV sensitive solution which produces vibrant Prussian bl
 ue colors. Participants are invited to use plants\, small personal objects
  from home ( smaller than 5x7) \, and drawings to compose a photographic i
 mage called a photogram.\n\nThe completed cyanotype fabric “flags” wil
 l be displayed in a public installation outside the Kingston Library celeb
 rating the diverse voices of the community. This presentation allows the w
 ork to interact with natural elements as they move in the wind\, reminisce
 nt of traditional prayer flags. All participants will be credited by name.
  Concluding the installation\, participants will collect their flags as a 
 keepsake of community art-making.\n\nRegister to save your spot\, or just 
 show up — walk-ins are welcome while supplies last! For ages 6 and up.\n
 \nLibrary events are free to attend\, but they are not free for us to host
 . When you register\, we reserve a spot and resources for you. If you regi
 ster but do not attend without canceling in advance\, you will be prohibit
 ed from registering for events for three months. Thank you for helping us
