SUMMARY:One Day Workshop - Intro to Relief: Linocut Patterns (NPS)
DESCRIPTION:1 Saturday\nMarch 7th\n12- 4:00 pm\n\nAges 16+\n\nLearn the bas
 ics of linocut and take home a printed "quilt" of linocut patterns. We'll 
 take inspiration from patterns used in quilting and other textiles\, and e
 ach participant will design and carve their own patterned block\, which we
 'll print individually and all together as a composite quilt image. This c
 lass will cover the basics of tools\, carving techniques\, registration\, 
 and two printing methods (by hand and on the etching press). No prior expe
 rience necessary.\n\nAll materials provided.\n\nParking: Please park on e
 ither Iwo Jima Lane or Cedar Street. Parking that is located in front of t
 he Neighborhood Print Studio are for residents living in the Pajama Factor

 nce to guarantee your spot. Scholarship availability closes 2 weeks prior
