NATURE: A Community Masquerade
Come masqued to move and play as animals, pollinators, flowers, trees and more for a gathering embodying and exploring our connection to the magic, wisdom and spirit of nature.
On August 26th, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM , we as a community will transform Kingston Rotary Park into a mesmerizing realm where nature spirits come alive as we collectively celebrate the nature within and around us. This extraordinary gathering will feature a diverse array of local artists, musicians, healers, and production professionals, who have dedicated their talents to creating heartfelt, interactive, and transformative community experiences.
Join us as we weave the fabric of our community, embracing the wisdom of our ancestors and celebrating the beauty of nature.
We believe collective joy is a powerful medicine for the world at this time. As we gather together to recognize the great Gift of Life, such as the abundance of the Earth, the Nourishment of the Waters, the Soothing of the Winds, and the Power of the Fire, we amplify that appreciation out into the World to touch all Hearts.
Let us come together to Celebrate the Great beauty that’s all around us and within us, remembering that these elements live within us and that we each are essential in the weaving of Today and Tomorrow.

WHERE: Kingston Point Rotary Park (at the end of Delaware Ave, Kingston, NY 12401)
WHEN: Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 5-8PM (raindate Sun. Aug 27, 5-8pm)
WHY: To honoring the great Beauty of Nature within and around us through collective intention and celebration.
HOW: The tickets for this event are offered with tiered pricing from $25-$45. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. If the suggested donation is in any way prohibitive, please reach out to us directly.
Please give what you can, allowing us to continue offering accessible programming for all! Your donation will also go towards our programs like ARTESANÍA: Creating Economic Empowerment for Women.
Note: Children may attend who are mature enough not to be distracting to you or others, can be silent at appropriate times, and can help hold the container we are creating together.
ABOUT THE HANDMADE LEATHER MASKS:
On August 20th we’ll be hosting a Handmade Mask Market in preparation for NATURE, at Circle Studio in New Paltz. The masks, featuring Nature Spirits such as birds, butterflies, flowers, trees, animals, and elemental beings of all kinds, have been designed and made by Circle Creative Collective through our ARTESANÍA program. This program creates economic equity and empowerment for women that have been historically marginalized through employment opportunities in the production of handmade goods, bringing value back to their inherent creative expression as well as the traditions that many of these women carry.
Masks will be available for purchase on our website or feel free to make and wear your own.
