SUMMARY:Music Fan Film Series – Talking Heads: CBGB’s 75
DESCRIPTION:Talking Heads: CBGB’S 75 is a combination of Talking Heads’
  musical sets at CBGB from August and October of 1975. The historic footag
 e\, not seen in five decades\, will be introduced by John Hazard in a spec
 ial one-night-only screening. After the Rosendale Theatre screening\, Mr. 
 Hazard will take part in a live talkback with locally-based filmmaker and 
 film educator Melody Gilbert.\n\nAbout Music Fan Film Series\n\nThis film 
 is presented by Rosendale Theatre’s Music Fan Series and is part of an o
 ngoing series of big-screen musical films and live concerts\, where you ca
 n enjoy with people who love music just as much as you do! The Music Fan S
 eries was launched\nJuly 4th weekend of 2014\, when John Wackman co-organi
 zed the Music Invasion Weekend. The program consisted of “A Hard Day’s
  Night\,” “Stop Making Sense\,” “The Last Waltz\,” and “Big St
 ar: Nothing Can Hurt Me.” To complement the event\, the Rosendale Theatr
 e lobby hosted an art exhibition titled: “50 Years of Classic LP Covers\
 ,” drawn from local fan collections. Since then\, a committee of music a
 nd film lovers has been curating the Music Fan Series at Rosendale Theatre
 \, programming more than 125 films for appreciative audiences. They are wi
 dening that mission to include live concerts.
