2026\nFor Immediate Release:\nA Moment in Time: Inflection Points\n
Tivoli Artists Gallery will be presenting a new show titl
ed “A Moment in Time: Inflection Points.”  The exhibition is centered
on the idea of something that happened at a particular and specific time.
It may be an instant captured in a visual glimpse which attempts to show
an occurrence when something was one way and became something different af
terwards. The concept for the show is based on the idea of inflection poin
ts. An inflection point is a time of significant change as in a turning po
int.  In mathematics\, it is a point on a curve in which a change in the
direction of curvature occurs. An inflection point in contemporary usage o
ften refers to a variety of sea changes that seem to build and then change
suddenly into a different form and level of understanding.\n
The artists in the exhibit were encouraged to consider before a
nd after periods in time when important change occurred\, and to clarify t
hem in visual terms.  Some of the works are of a personal nature that inf
orms the viewer of an event in their lives. Others serve to illuminate inc
idents that are current or historic in culture and civilization. The exhib
ition aspires to portray expressions that show inflection points at a part
icular moment in time.\n            Artists with work in this s
