March Messy Church!
You’re invited to join us for crafts, community service projects, wiggle-friendly worship, communion, and a free dinner! Please come to St. James for all-ages fun, faith, fellowship, and food at 4:00 on Saturday, March 4!
We will start promptly at 4:00 PM at St. James United Methodist Church. Please park and enter at our Pearl Street side (use the new “elevator door” found at our parking lot). Parents, grandparents, or other guardians must stay (it is not a drop off event). You don’t need to have children to attend, though — this is faith, community, and fun for all ages.
Our March themes will be special meals with Jesus. We’ll tell the stories of Zacchaeus (and Jesus visiting his house) and Jesus’ last supper with his friends, and introduce communion through fun crafts and activities like rainbow painted bread, dipping oreos in milk, secret messages revealed when we paint with grape juice, building a “thankful marble run” out of cardboard tubes, and more! All are welcome.
If you have food allergies or need other accommodations please let us know. We want everyone to feel welcome and be able to participate! You can e-mail us at kids.saintjames@gmail.com or call the church office at 331-3030 and leave a message for our children and youth director.
We can’t wait to welcome you on Saturday, March 4! While RSVPs are not required, we really appreciate them. If you RSVP on Facebook, send us a FB message, or RSVP on Eventbrite, it helps us estimate how many meals we will need. Thanks!
