DESCRIPTION:FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE\n\nArts Society of Kingston Announces Thr
ee March Exhibitions\n\nLuminous Realms (Group Exhibition\, Curated by Mer
edith Rosier)\nThe Storm Collector (Front Gallery Solo Exhibition by Andre

ociety of Kingston (ASK) is pleased to announce three concurrent exhibitio
 nsopening Saturday\, March 7\, 2026\, from 3:00–5:00 PM\, as part of its
March Spotlight Show. Together\, these exhibitions offer expansive and in
 timate reflections on light\, atmosphere\, weather\, and water—elements
that shape how we see\, feel\, and move through the world.\n\nLuminous Rea
lms\n\nGroup Exhibition | Curated by Meredith Rosier\n\nLuminous Realms br
ings together 32 professional artists whose work explores luminosity as a
powerful force in visual art. Spanning a wide range of materials and appro
aches\, the exhibition considers transparency and opacity\, refraction and
reflection\, and the emotional resonance of light as it moves through lay
ered surfaces and illusionary space. From subtle glows to radiant intensit
y\, Luminous Realmsoffers a richly textured meditation on light’s enduri
ng role in artistic expression.\n\nThe Storm Collector\n\nFront Gallery |
Andrea Park\n\nIn The Storm Collector\, painter Andrea Parkpresents oil an
d gouache works inspired by years of observing clouds and storms\, includi
ng time spent in Alaska and along the Ashokan Rail Trail. Often painted en
plein air\, Park’s work captures the drama\, movement\, and shifting li
ght of weather systems\, celebrating painting as a practice rooted in joy\
, freedom\, and close attention to the natural world.\n\nH2O\n\nMember Gal
lery | Group Exhibition\n\nH2O explores water as an elemental force that s
hapes our bodies\, landscapes\, histories\, and daily lives. Featuring art
ists working across disciplines\, the exhibition considers water as both m
aterial and metaphor—life-giving and finite\, powerful and fragile\, eve
r-present yet often unseen. Works reflect on water as sustenance and movem
ent\, memory and transformation\, abundance and scarcity\, inviting viewer
s to pause and consider their own relationship to this essential element.\
n\nASK is located in Kingston’s Rondout waterfront district\, an area lo
ng shaped by the river and its history of trade\, movement\, and exchange.
While not site-specific\, H2O is quietly informed by this setting\, offer
ing space for contemplation around how water connects place\, people\, and
  time.\n\nExhibition Details\n\nExhibition Dates: March 7 – March 29\, 2
