The Rondout Rowing Club is offering Learn to Row for people who are interested in joining the club. The 2 day training consists of row machine (erg) training, a swim test, and safety instruction (Day 1- Kingston YMCA) and on water training in a boat (Day 2- Hudson River Maritime Museum dock). https://rondoutrowingclub.org/learn-to-row
The training on Saturday and Sunday, June 3-4, 8-11a & 12-3p is required. Participants are expected to participate in several free follow up coached rows (5:30p, Mon-Thurs 6/5-6/8 & 6/12-6/15, 8am, Sat 6/10)
Training program costs $200 and graduates may join RRC at the discounted rate of $300.
A separate training offered by the Y, is helpful to prepare for Learn to Row. Participants in this program you will receive a $50 discount on the Learn to Row program. Register on the YMCA’s website ASAP: https://ymcaulster.org/
