DESCRIPTION:“Join the City of Kingston’s Urban Forester for a guided to
 ur of the new tree plantings at Post Office Park! With 50 trees throughout
  the site\, attendees will be able to learn information about tree species
 \, tree history\, as well as what benefits the trees provide to birds\, po
 llinators\, and our community. The tour will take 1.5 hours and conclude w
 ith an optional 30-minute “Weeding Blitz” to remove small weeds around
  the tree planting beds to help the trees with their growing needs.\n\nPle
 ase bring water\, sun/rain protection\, and questions about trees! Tree to
 ur will continue in light rain. If there are heavy showers or thunderstorm
 s the event will be postponed to a future date. “Weeding Blitz” will g
 uided by the Urban Forester and involve removing small weeds by hand aroun
 d the tree planting beds. Gardening gloves will be available for up to 20 
 people\, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own gloves.”
