Center. Using stencils and a color scheme designed by visiting artist Julia Vogl, you will spray paint your answers to questions posed by students from the Read and Write program at the Rondout Neighborhood Center. No artistic skills are necessary! Just have fun spray painting our cinder block wall!
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED: A maximum of 5 guests may sign up for each 15 minute time slot between 12 PM and 1:30 PM on Wednesday, August 5th and between 12 PM and 1:30 PM on Thursday, August 6th.
When you arrive at the Reher Center’s Spring Street courtyard, volunteers will greet you with PPE and brief you on our COVID-19 guidelines. Then you will answer three survey questions designed by students from the Rondout Neighborhood Center’s Read and Write Program during their residency with visiting artist Julia Vogl. We will safely assist you in using stencils and colors to represent your responses on the communal mural.
This project was funded in part by the City of Kingston’s Participatory Budgeting Allocation for Rondout Youth Programs.
