 nese woodblock printing\, is one of the oldest kinds of printmaking as wel
 l as one of the most environmentally friendly. Many famous works of art fr
 om Japan\, such as “The Great Wave” were made using this method. Stude
 nts will produce prints consisting of up to four layers. This class will r
 un for six sessions\, and will take students through every part of the pro
 cess\, along with a critique and optional exchange on the last day.\n\n---
