SUMMARY:Historic Reher Bakery Drop-In Hours
DESCRIPTION:For nearly a century\, two generations of the Jewish immigrant 
 Reher family ran a bakery from the storefront of 101 Broadway in Kingston\
 , New York\, and lived upstairs. Kingston residents of the surrounding Ron
 dout neighborhood\, mostly working class and immigrant\, came to Reher’s
  for bread\, canned goods\, and gossip.\n\nToday\, the site is a museum an
 d cultural center that preserves and honors the legacy of Reher's Bakery t
 hrough amplifying immigrant stories of the Hudson Valley\, past and presen
 t.\n\nVisiting with Children: Families are welcome on our Historic Bakery
  Tours and in our gallery. We find the Historic Bakery Tour experience is 
 best suited for children ages 6 and up.\n\nParking: Parking along Spring 
 Street is free. Metered parking is available along Broadway\, free on Sund
 ay. There is a free municipal lot on Rondout Landing at the foot of Broadw
 ay.
