  the dedication of a new roadside history marker commemorating Athens' Bri
 ck Row neighborhood as a district on the National Register of Historic Pla
 ces. A standalone facet of the Village of Athens\, Brick Row is a remarkab
 ly intact window into our community's rich industrial past.\nThis new mark
 er\, awarded by the William G. Pomeroy Foundation\, will be unveiled along
 side a brief lecture on the history of Brick Row by Greene County Histori
 an Jonathan Palmer.\n\nJoin us for this free\, all-ages event at the Athen
 s Cultural Center. Doors open at 6:00 PM with light refreshments\, and the
