SUMMARY:High School Sailing Club - 6 Sessions Begin with Orientation
DESCRIPTION:This six-session class (18 hours total) is designed for youth a
 ges 13 - 17 who are either new to dinghy sailing or who would like additio
 nal opportunities to get out on the water\, make new friends from differen
 t communities\, and learn more about sailing.\n\nSpring Session: Orientati
 on: Thursday\, May 14 5:00 to 6:30 pm. Classes will be Thursdays\, 3:30 - 
 6:30 pm\, May 21 &amp\; 28\; June 4\, 11\, 18 &amp\; 25.\n\nUS Sailing-cer
 tified instructors will teach or review the basics of sailing in brief on-
 land chalk talks\, creative land drills and on the water in our fleet of d
 inghy sailboats.  Participants will practice various crew and skipper ski
 lls while working as teams with other students. Instructors will coach fro
 m nearby safety boats.\n\nRegister by May 13th\n\nGeneral Public: $375\; M
