20 years\, brings more than three decades of hands-on experience with gra
nt writing\, grant administration\, and philanthropic leadership across hi
gher education and the nonprofit sector. He has successfully written and m
anaged multimillion-dollar grants from major funders including the Bill &a
 mp\; Melinda Gates Foundation\, the U.S. Department of Education\, NSF\, a
nd EDUCAUSE\, and has served as Principal Investigator on nationally recog
nized initiatives. As a former Senior Program Officer at the Gates Foundat
ion\, Josh oversaw a $30 million grant portfolio\, giving him deep insight
into how funders evaluate proposals\, structure programs\, and measure im
pact. This dual perspective—as both grant seeker and grant maker—uniqu
ely positions him to help organizations understand not just how to write g
