DESCRIPTION:\n\nLet’s gather together for a voting rights-teach-in\, word
 s of hope\, music\, dancing\, and a free community meal. This event is fre
 e and open to the public.\n\n\n\n\nThe fight to protect voting rights neve
 r ends\, and right now\, we’re witnessing a Jim-Crow-era effort from pol
 iticians and their billionaire friends to restrict our freedoms\, silence 
 our voices\, and consolidate power.\n\n\n\n\nBut in America\, we choose ou
 r leaders. We will decide our future. The same spirit that fueled Selma\, 
 Montgomery\, and the March on Washington lives on in our unified action.\n
 \n\n\n\nSix years after the passing of Congressman Lewis\, we're organizin
 g an event in our community to carry the torch\, continue the legacy of Jo
 hn Lewis\, and pass it forward to future generations. Join us!\n\n\n\n\nA 
 core principle behind all Good Trouble Lives On events is a commitment to 
 nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any p
 otential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act 
 lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind\, including those legally pe
 rmitted\, should not be brought to events.\n\n
