Girls Write Kingston workshop is hosted by The A.J. Williams-Myers African Roots Center, the YMCA of Kingston and Ulster Counties, the Bard College Institute for Writing & Thinking (IWT), and the Bard College Master of Arts in Teaching Program (MAT).
Writing is an essential tool for self-expression, advocacy, and action–a tool that is not confined to the classroom .Girls Write Kingston participants will be offered the opportunity to experiment, experience, and explore the writing process through a range of fun creative activities, in the company of a supportive learning community. The workshop will conclude with a celebrator y reading and launch of an on-line student-directed publication.
Two Information sessions will be held on Tuesday January 12, 2021.
