DESCRIPTION:Film and film cameras are very different from digital cameras a
 nd create very different photographs. Because they do less for us\, we nee
 d to understand how they function\, their unique capabilities\, and how we
  can optimize their use.\n\nThis Photo Club presentation\, led by artist C
 harles Purvis\, covers the basics of traditional 35mm\, 120\, and 4×5 cam
 eras and film. Charles will cover how the cameras function\, lenses\, film
 -loading\, exposure tips\, and best use. He’ll present common film types
 \, their structure\, attributes\, and suggestions for best use. Examples o
 f the cameras and film will be on hand.
