 nity in Kingston\, NY\nHumanity's relationship with the environment is com
 plex\, intimate\, and often fraught with contradiction. Consider the vibra
 nt flora adorning our neighborhoods\, the persistent chorus of cicadas on 
 summer evenings\, and the enduring presence of rocks and trees that shape 
 our daily landscapes. Alongside these natural wonders stand the traces of 
 human activity: ubiquitous manufactured goods\, littered beverage containe
 rs on city streets\, and oceans increasingly burdened by microplastics. Th
 is environment -at once cherished\, familiar\, and deeply scarred -compels
  us to reflect: What forces have shaped these changes? What responsibiliti
 es and choices confront us now?\nMarking its fifth anniversary\, this year
 's theme\, "Because We Care\, reflects on our complex relationship with th
 e environment -one shaped by both deep connection and visible impact. Prod
 ucer Maxine Leu brings together artists whose practices span disciplines a
 nd perspectives\, each offering a unique response to environmental challen
 ges. Through creative practice\, community engagement\, and conscious deci
 sion-making\, Eco Arts Week encourages small\, intentional actions that co
 ntribute to a more sustainable future.\n\nExhibition participating artists
