Dirty Fences + Flasyd @ Colony
Dirty Fences:
Satisfying a youthful obsession with early KISS and Motley Crue, then discovering the fortunate truth of The Dictators and Ramones, DIRTY FENCES has been NYCs hardest working Rock n Roll veterans for the last decade. Slinging street-level rock and roll, DF has the Tommy Ramone beat, harmonies, and lots of them. From fast slasher power pop tunes, to country ballads, to Eddie Cochran style “parents-just-dont-understand” rock and roll, they know their stuff and have a lot of fun doing it.

Flasyd:
Flasyd landed in the underground punk scene back in late 2018. Facetiously giggling through their soft name giving new meaning to the phrase “don’t judge a book by its cover” or rather, a band by its name.
In 2019 Flasyd released their self-titled EP, recorded by Oakley Munson of the Black Lips and produced by Jonothan Toubin. Steve For The Deaf elucidated “They spill over the sides, they colour outside of the lines, they’re like trying to get the lid closed on a tool box with too much stuff in it. All of it too vital to do without.”
The band describes themselves as “always fast, hardly accurate” which prompted Milton to create “a day in the life of female punk band, Flasyd” documentary film which Indie Shorts Mag deemed “a love letter to punk”. Always Fast, Hardly Accurate was released in 2020 and was an official selection of the LA Punk Film Festival in 2021.
