In honor of what would have been the beloved songwriter’s 75th Birthday, Colony Woodstock and Eric Squindo present Crooked Piece of Time – The Songs of John Prine.
From his 1971 debut album to 2018’s Grammy-award winning Tree of Forgiveness, the night will feature covers of ‘the singing mailman’s’ well-known classics and obscure gems, performed by some of the Hudson Valley’s finest musicians.
Following the success of previous Colony tribute nights, Eric Squindo is thrilled to present another one of a kind event. Each artist will bring their own unique style to the stage as they pay tribute to one of music’s most cherished and influential talents. Collaboration between musicians and intimate ‘at home’ atmosphere offers the audience a special experience that these events have been known for. Not to be missed!

Effective immediately: For upcoming indoor events, The Colony will require all patrons, performers, and staff to show proof of full vaccination, with the last dose having been administered at least 14 days prior to entry. As proof of vaccination status, we accept NYS Excelsior Pass, your vaccination record card you received at the time of your vaccine, or a photo of your vaccination card.
In addition, masks will be required and must be worn at all times indoors, except while eating or drinking. Doors will now open at 6:00pm for events beginning at 8:00pm so that if patrons wish to order food and drinks prior to the event, they will be able to do so.
If you have already purchased tickets to an event and will be unable to adhere to these guidelines, we will be accepting refund requests if you could please forward your ticket confirmation to mike@colonywoodstock.com requesting a refund.
By implementing these measures, we aim to protect vulnerable communities, patrons, performers and staff of The Colony. If you are reading this and have thus far chosen not to be vaccinated, we urge you to reconsider that decision so that we may keep our community safe and healthy, while getting back to what we love: enjoying live entertainment and music in Woodstock!
