Community Blood Drive at Ulster Savings Bank

On Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 9 am to 2 pm, the Rotary Club of Kingston is hosting an American Red Cross blood drive at Ulster Savings Bank, 180 Schwenk Dr., Kingston. Whole blood donors* and Power Red donors** are needed. Appointments are available from 9 am to 1:30 pm. Call 1-800-REDCROSS or visit RedCrossBlood.org. Each donor will receive a special Red Cross beach towel.

* Whole blood donors must be age 17 or older, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health.

** Power Red is similar to a whole blood donation, except a special machine is used to allow you to safely donate two units of red blood cells during one donation. Power Red is for type O, A negative or B negative donors who are in good health. Male donors must be at least 17 years old, at least 5’1″ tall and weigh at least 130 lbs. Female donors must be at least 19 years old, at least 5’5″ tall and weigh at least 150 lbs.
