DESCRIPTION:To support and uplift the many wonderful community events happe
 ning on the original date\, we are postponing our Harvest Gathering. Inste
 ad\, we’re excited to invite you to join us for a Collard Green Tasting 
 &amp\; Harvest Gathering In partnership with Dream Garden Rainbow Snake at
  the Rondout Community Garden.\nThis year\, we are excited to connect our 
 harvest to the Purple Ultracross Collard Project\, a Hudson Valley Farm H
 ub initiative that honors these traditions while expanding biodiversity an
 d preserving heirloom varieties for future generations. Collard greens hol
 d deep cultural significance in African American foodways\, representing r
 esilience\, survival\, and the sharing of sustenance across generations. T
 hey are a cornerstone of Southern cuisine and a living symbol of heritage 
 carried through the African diaspora.\nParticipants will also have the opp
 ortunity to take home a bag of fresh veggies and collards (as supplies las
 t)—so RSVP and don’t forget to bring a tote!\nThis event is free\, but
