  (Fanfare Magazine)\, the Shelest Piano Duo—husband and wife Anna and Dm
 itri Shelest—trace their roots to music school in Ukraine and have since
  performed on prestigious stages worldwide. Their inventive programming an
 d shared passion have taken them from Carnegie Hall to state functions\, e
 arning praise from global leaders like UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon fo
 r “realizing diplomacy through music.” Anna\, hailed by The New York T
 imes for her “fiery sensibility and warm touch\,” is an international 
 award-winning pianist and soloist collaborating with conductor Neeme Järv
 i. Dmitri\, a former scholarship recipient and competition winner\, is als
