DESCRIPTION:Bitch is a longstanding queer icon\, actress\, musician and wri
 ter who Yahoo Entertainment called “a feminist force that the world need
 s now more than ever” when she released “Bitchcraft\,” her 9th studi
 o album\, on the legendary label Kill Rock Stars in 2022.\nUsing songs fro
 m “Bitchcraft\,” she developed a one woman show\, “Hey Bitch!” tha
 t has run for two Summer-long residencies in Provincetown\, MA. From there
 \, she and her co-writer Margie Zohn rewrote the play and titled it “Bit
 chcraft: A Musical Play\,” which played to rave reviews in an off-Broadw
 ay run at Wild Project in February 2025. Whether she is acting in her auto
 biographical show\, or playing a musical concert\, Bitch’s shows are col
 orful\, bold\, and unforgettable.\nBitch first achieved notoriety as one h
 alf of the queer folk duo Bitch and Animal. The band toured with Ani DiFra
 nco\, and released two albums on her label Righteous Babe Records. In the 
 mid 2000s\, Bitch went solo\, and shared stages with the Indigo Girls\, ac
 ted in John Cameron Mitchell’s film “Shortbus\,” co-wrote a song wit
 h Margaret Cho\, and produced two albums of her elder and folk hero Ferron
 . Bitch recently played a role in the audible series “Dykes To Watch Out
  For” by Alison Bechdel (Fun Home).\nMost recently\, Bitch launched a mu
 lti-media comedy project\, One Long Earring\, (think Lesbian Spinal Tap) w
 ith Faith Soloway (Transparent\, Second City)\, that debuted to sold out a
