 at began as college roommates at Penn State in the 1980s. Between classes

 n the college club scene. Though music often filled their shared living ro

  been recorded by many artists including Grammy-winning Levon Helm (Anna L
 ee) and Rhiannon Giddens of the Carolina Chocolate Drops ( Leaving Eden ).
  She is releasing an album of new songs in 2026\, with M.C. Taylor of Hiss
  Golden Messenger producing.\nBET WILLIAMSBorn along the Hudson River and 
 raised in Virginia and Germany\, Bet Williams has carved out a distinctive
  place in the folk and indie-rock worlds\, with more than a dozen full-len
 gth studio albums\, including Rose Tattoo \, Elephants and Angels \, and T
 he 11th Hour . A longtime favorite on the singer-songwriter scene\, Willia
 ms left the U.S. over fifteen years ago to tour extensively across Europe.
