“My work is inspired  by the complexity of the natural world.I photograph a vista which attracts me. Watercolor painted forms unify and dominate, so I begin with them, then add elements of detail and contrast using pastel. I explore the unfathomable balancing act of Nature’s compositions. The resulting vibrant images tend toward abstraction, but they are firmly rooted in landscape.”
