The Straw berry Festival has been an annual tradition of the Klyne Esopus Museum for over 60 years!\nPARKING:\nThose with permanent handicap logos on their li cense plate ONLY will be permitted to part in our small lot in front of th e museum. (You will be directed exactly where you can park by members of t he museum.) ALL OTHERS must park at the Headless Horseman Hayrides/Haunted House lot and either walk over\, or wait for the people who will be shutt ling visitors over in rented golf carts. There WILL BE an officer patrolin g traffic and keeping those who wish to walk over safe from harm. Caution cones will also be laid out along the path.\n\n \;\nKIDS' GAMES:\nThe kids' area will be down in the "backyard" of the caretaker's house. There is a walking path through the grass behind the area where the seating tent s end so that they don't have to go anywhere near the road or traffic or t he cars being parked in the lot.\n\n \;\nFOLLOW THE SIGNS!:\nThere wil l be many signs out leading you along to where you need to go and which te nts to stop at first--please pay attention so that you don't get confused and you don't have to go back and forth (unless you really want to!)\n\n&n bsp\;\nFREEBIES!!:\nADMISSION IS FREE!! That INCLUDES listening to the mus ic inside or out\, as well as going inside to listen to the history speake rs.  You only have to pay if you want to eat the food being served. A men u of the items will be available at the event.\n\nStewart's Shops has grac iously donated an ice cream truck to be at our event! It is FREE FOR EVERY ONE!\n\nWATER BOTTLES are free for anyone. The other drinks must be purcha sed.\n\nA small selection of varied fresh fruits will be available as a gr acious donation from Maynard Farms.
