 his two-day advanced scene study intensive is designed for professional ac
 tors who want to deepen their process and expand their craft through open 
 scene work\, dramatic improvisation\, scripting\, and advanced contemporar
 y scene study.\nThe weekend is structured around rehearsal\, exploration\,
  and intense on-your-feet scene work. Actors will work on physicalizing ci
 rcumstances\, sustaining presence\, and building behavior that gives langu
 age its necessity.\nParticipants should expect an active\, demanding\, pla
 yful rehearsal room and be ready to work\, learn and grow.\nAbout Dexter B
 ullard\nDexter Bullard is an award-winning director and teacher whose work
  spans Broadway\, Steppenwolf\, and leading Chicago and New York stages. H
 e directed Tracy Letts’ Linda Vista on Broadway and has developed new wo
 rk with some of the country’s most respected theaters and artists.\nA Fu
 ll Professor of Acting and former head of Graduate Acting at The Theatre S
 chool at DePaul University\, Dexter has spent decades training actors at e
 very level. His teaching centers on rigorous investigation\, physical embo
 diment\, and cultivating the instincts that allow actors to create truthfu
 l\, dynamic work.\nAfter a home run debut workshop with The Actor’s Atel
 ier\, he is returning to teach for the second time.
